VIDEO: Evo takes the Caparo T1 to the Nürburgring

Yesterday we showed you a video with Chris Harris' first impressions on the BMW 1-Series M Coupe. Now it's time for Evo's Phil Bennett to take the wheel of the Caparo T1 at the Nürburgring race track. The Caparo currently comes in two flavors: the basic T1 with 575bhp, and a more track-oriented version, the 620 bhp Race Extreme.

At 550 kg (1.212 lbs) and 575bhp from the 3.5-liter V8 engine, the Caparo T1 has awe-inspiring power-to-weight ratio of 1,045 bhp per ton! No wonder it goes from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 2.5 seconds (depending on tire setup) and to 100 mph (160 km/h) in under 5 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 200mph or 322 km/h.
